Roll out the red carpet, Hoboken—200 Lounge has arrived. Friday evening, the red ribbon was officially cut and 200 Lounge opened its doors to the public. With an all exclusive side-entrance elevator bringing you directly up to the club’s top floor, the moment you step inside you are greeted with the nightlife straight from a Hollywood movie.
The lounge is covered in smooth Italian leather and chic décor. Multi-colored laser lights were moving with the music as everyone crowded the dance floor. Cocktail waitresses approached patrons offering them shots of Bubblegum and Root beer flavored vodka, all the while chilled bottles of Grey Goose sat on every table with an assortment of mixers and energy drinks.
Owner Jerry Dinatale wanted to create a popular night club that did not give the vibe of your average bar.
“200 Lounge is based upon my experience in New York City,” Dinatale says. “We’re not a bar. We won’t ever be a bar,”
Every Thursday night from 8-10pm Danny Aiello will have a comedy show featuring well-known comedians. After 10pm, the lounge will serve as a night club with state of the art music and seven different laser lights.
Due to some of the best promoters from New York and Atlantic City, Friday and Saturday nights celebrities will make appearances, such as Tracy DiMarco from Jerseylicious. DiMarco showed Friday night with some of her crew for the ribbon cutting and some drinks on the dance floor. She will be returning November 13th to celebrate her birthday.
Dinatale continues, “We give you excitement, we give you something, it’s not just a DJ off the street,”
This lounge is proud to provide its patrons with spectacular bottle service for about $150 cheaper than other bottle services in Hoboken.
“We want people to come here and have fun and not wake up the next morning and say ‘Oh my god. How did I spend $3000?’,” says Dinatale. “You can come here, have fun, and see a real show and eat,”
Not only is this THE place to party, but 200 Lounge also is serving up some fantastic and exotic food in its late-night menu.
“It’s great, we spent a lot of time on that,’ Dinatale says. “We wanted something totally different.”
The menu has an assortment of Hot and cold antipastos, other succulent appetizers, entrees such as veal, and authentic Italian desserts.
The music is trendy, the drinks are cold, and most importantly the prices are unbeatable. 200 Lounge has made its mark and delivers you New York entertainment in your own neighborhood.
“Everything that I got in here is something nobody has,” Dinatale says.
