Hudson Restaurant Week is a bi-annual culinary celebration that promotes Hudson County as a premier dining destination in New Jersey during slow times of the year: January and July. It was created by Get Out Hudson magazine in 2005 through conversations with local restaurants. The event and magazine were created by young female entrepreneur, Tamara Remedios. Today’s Photos of the Day are of local favorite Court Street Restaurant using HDR technique. I decided to include two views. The brick looks very nice and this is achieved by upping the contrast. I stayed away from playing around with the saturation on these shots as I wanted to let the brick speak for itself. If bricks could only talk.

Note: TheBoken.com had the Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner yesterday and it did not disappoint. The meat was very tender and almost fell off the fork and had a very nice taste to it. It might not be as monstrous in portions as their Monday night Prime Rib special but it hit the spot and at $15.99 is a fair value. Every year Court Street prepares this special meal and regulars do come back for it year after year. As a result reservations are recommended.
