Tim Tebow to Live in Hoboken–Let the Tebowing Begin!

Tim Tebow on Washington Street

It has finally being reported from a legitimate news source that NFL QB Tim Tebow is indeed moving to Hoboken now that he has been traded to the NY Jets from the Denver Broncos. The NY Post is reporting that Tebow has signed a lease to rent a two-bedroom pad at 2 Constitution Court, a 13-story luxury condo building overlooking the New York skyline in uptown Hoboken. Eli Manning, two time Super Bowl winning QB for the NY Giants who lives in the Hudson Tea Building with his wife will now be neighbors with Tim. Hoboken now sure has its fair share of NFL quarterbacks.

Ice-T at Hoboken’s Zylo Restaurant 9-28-2011

Last night on 9/28/2011, Ice-T paid a visit to Hoboken’s Zylo Restaurant at the W Hotel. He is seen here posing with kitchen staff from the restaurant. This wouldn’t be the first time a celebrity visited Hoboken’s W Hotel and it won’t be the last. TheBoken wonders if the bartenders made him a Long Island Ice-T?

Meet Future/Current Modeling Star Tino Appice of Hoboken

Child Model Tino Appice Stikes the PoseTino Appice is likely the only 5 year old in America that can tell all his kindergarten pals that he got to hang out with his shirt off alongside Jennifer Lopez recently in an advertisement for Jennifer Lopez’s perfume which appeared nationwide. 

When not riding his bike, breakdancing or hanging with his little pals, Tino Appice, 5 years old, from Hoboken, NJ is a well respected young model featured all over the world.  Tino wants to leave modeling one day and become the shortstop for the NY Yankees, Tino’s idol is Derek Jeter.

Tino Appice Parents MagazineMost recently, Tino (short for Dagastino) appeared on the September 2011 cover of Parents Magazine.  Tino has been modeling since he was 6 months old and loves working as a model says his mother Nicole Appice of Hoboken.  Aside form being a clover model and working with J Lo, Tino has done work for Toys R Us, Babies R us, Macy’s, Sophie Catalou and MyPublisher.

When not modeling Tino shadows as an actor and is awaiting his call to land a major motion picture contract.  Seems like this kids is headed for stardom.  Dagastino Appice does seem fitting for a star, I can see that name in lights already.

While neighboring New York City is a celebrity mecca, the small city of Hoboken has its share of celebrities as well. Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian are said to be looking at new digs in New York City to start a family but many Hoboken celebrities remain such as Katie McGee, Eli Manning, Artie Lange, Jeff Miles  and dare say it Batman and Robin. Buddy Valastro’s Mom “Mama Cake Boss” Poses for Photos on Court Street Today

TheBoken was out and about today walking the streets of Hoboken and heard some kids screaming with joy on Court Street behind Carlo’s Bakery. Buddy’s Mom on the show Cake Boss made an appearance at the bakery’s back entrance. She was very gracious and allowed many children and adult fans to pose with her asking the crowd repeatedly “is there any one else who wants their picture taken”? She was in good spirits and at several times she broke into song. One of her numbers was “These are a few of my favorite things” from the Sound of Music. Not only is she a very proud Italian mom with a charismatic and famous son,  but she also has a nice voice too. She handled the crowd as gracious as anyone could ever be. TheBoken again had another Paparazzi/TMZ moment this week but left knowing that “Mama Cake Boss” was not in the least bit flustered by the attention but rather quite elegantly handles all the hoopla quite well.
