On Tuesday, March 5, ZYLO Tuscan Steak House is hosting a special four-course Tuscan Wine Dinner featuring Executive Chef Eric Basulto’s modern take on traditional Italian fare, paired with a variety of Tuscan wines.

Part of a series of wine dinners, the Tuscan Wine Dinner will take guests on a journey of Tuscany, to enjoy the cuisine of the region along with hand-selected wines – all with an unsurpassed river-front view of the Manhattan skyline.  ZYLO’s mix of classic Tuscan traditions with a cutting-edge steakhouse feel ensures that guests will experience the food and wine of Tuscany in a unique way.  The dinner menu for the special night is as follows:

Canapes

Duck Liver Pate, Huckleberry Gastrique & Lobster Salad Bruschetta Paired with Caposaldo

Primi

Yellowtail Crudo, Lemon Oil, Smoked Sea Salt Micro Coriander
Paired with Vermentino di Bolgheri

Secondi

Cavatelli Pasta, Wild Boar Ragu, Calvo Nero Fresh Ricotta
Paired with Nozzole Chianti Classico Riserva & Vino Nobile di Montepulciano

Entrée

Bisteca Florentine, Roasted Hedgehog Mushrooms, Potatoes “A La Contadina”
Paired with Guidalberto

Sorrento Lemon Cheesecake, Blackberry Compote
Paired with Moscato d’ Asti

The Tuscan Wine Dinner at ZYLO begins at 6:30 pm, and is priced at $105 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.  Tickets are required, and may be purchased on Brown Paper Tickets.
