Photo of the Day- Tall Sail Ship on Hudson

Pirate Ship - Ahoy Matey!Today’s photo of the day is of a tall sail ship on the Hudson River on an overcast day. For HDR experts there is the halo effect which I include here knowing that most consider it undesirable but I find it has its uses to highlight objects.

  1. Sunscreen! ;) A good strong tarp, fihsing pole and hooks/sinkers/line, a deck of cards and a pair of dice, maybe a bucket to bail with? Is there a “If you were going to hike the Appalachian Trail…” question? I might be able to answer that one with a bit of reasonableness…the only boat I’ve ever been on, in the ocean, was the ferry going to Ft. Sumter, and I didn’t pack a thing. Ha!
