PUBLIC INVITED TO HOBOKEN POLICE AWARDS CEREMONY
Mayor Dawn Zimmer is pleased to announce that the Hoboken Police Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 14th at 10:00 am at the Howe Center located on the Stevens campus.
Over 200 awards, including for acts of commendable service, valor, and bravery which occurred between 2006 and 2011, will be presented to 88 current and retired members of the Hoboken Police Department as well as law enforcement officers from other agencies.
Interested members of the public are invited to join the Mayor Dawn Zimmer, Public Safety Director Jon Tooke and Chief Anthony Falco in recognizing the hard work and dedication of our Police Officers.
The City held the first awards ceremony since the 1990’s in December, 2011 for acts performed between 1996 and 2006. Going forward, an award ceremony will take place on an annual basis.
