NJ Young Filmmakers Festival The 38th Annual New Jersey Young Film and Videomakers’ Festival will present its roster of this year’s winning works at 3 pm at the Hoboken Historical Museum on Sunday, November 18. The event is free.
Twelve works drawn from a field of 40 submissions by high school and college students across the state will be shown. The Festival makes its home at New Jersey City University and reaches out to nearby organizations and the Hoboken Historical Museum program caps a regional tour that commenced at the AMC Multiplex theater in West Orange with a second program at South Orange Public Library.
Hoboken Historical Museum’s program is the public’s last chance this year to see the creative talents of students from across the state. Festival Director John Columbus will be present to introduce the program, which he feels is a testament to the resilience of Hoboken. This year’s jurors were filmmaker Gregg Bierman, Professor, Bergen Community College and Jennifer Epstein, MediaLogistics Project Manager, Discovery Communications, New York, NY.
