Women’s History Month – Martha Bayard Dod Stevens Event at Hoboken Public Library

Join the Hoboken Public Library Wednesday, March 20 at 6:30 pm as they celebrate Women’s history month by honoring the life and contributions of Martha Stevens. Mrs. Stevens was a social reformer and philanthropist, responsible for the construction of the Hoboken Public Library and established the Industrial Education Association, a school for the young women of Hoboken. A reception at 6:30 will be followed by a presentation. at 7 pm. The Hoboken Public Library looks forward to celebrating Mrs. Stevens’ inspirational story with you!
