And here is the Hoboken Weather forecast:
This Afternoon: Periods of rain. The rain could be heavy at times. High near 53. North wind between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Tonight: Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog. Low around 51. Breezy, with a east wind between 16 and 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 2 and 3 inches possible.
Monday: Rain likely, mainly before 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. Breezy, with a south wind between 13 and 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Note: This should be a good test for the recently installed pump at Observer Highway and Washington Street. High tide mix with heavy rain at peak tide is usually when the flooding is at its worst. Hopefully this pump will mitigate the majority of flooding that has plagued Hoboken for years.
