Jonathan Talbot Collage Art DemonstrationOn Sunday, June 9th at 4pm, Jonathan Talbot, Master Collagist and Internationally known artist will offer a FREE Collage Lecture and Demonstration at hob’art gallery, Medium and Metaphor. The gallery is located at 720 Monroe Street, #E208, Hoboken, NJ.

Explore the nature and implications of the creative process with internationally known collage artist Jonathan Talbot. Learn how the insights we acquire from the plastic arts can be applied in other areas of our lives. Talbot will also demonstrate a number of the technical innovations which are discussed in his book “Collage: A New Approach.” Talbot is a leading artist in the this field. His works have been shown at the National Academy,  MOMA, and other museums in the U.S. and Europe. He is the developer of a new collage technique which eliminates wet adhesives from the collage-assembly process. This technique, allows greater spontaneity, more precise placement of materials, and at the same time eliminates wrinkling and allows collages to be composed and then “glued down” without dis-assembly.

Gallery information can be obtained on the website www.hob-art.org and from the Director, France Garrido via email at director@hob-art.org.

  1. Thanks for the link to the survey today. I'd seen something about it, but got busy and would have missed it but for you.
