We can remedy these ill-conceived proposals but need your support to do so. We have invited several speakers and there will, of course, be food, drink and entertainment. This will be a fun-filled event for a serious cause. This benefit is to support the work of the Fund for a Better Waterfront (FBW) and the Eastern Environmental Law Center (EELC), originally scheduled for November 13, is now on for Tuesday, December 11. Buy your tickets today. Members should be receiving our letter/invitation in the mail. Don’t be confused by the old date (new date on outside label) — Hurricane Sandy arrived as the mailing was set to go out. In addition to working on remedies for the next disaster in Hoboken, FBW with legal assistance from EELC has been working overtime to avert a series of disastrous proposals that will impact Hoboken and its waterfront.
