PUBLIC INVITED TO LEGION PARK & ELYSIAN PARK COMMUNITY MEETINGS

The City of Hoboken will host a community meeting on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 to solicit input from the public on Phase 2 of improvements to Legion Park, a pocket park located at 1225 Willow Avenue. The meeting will take place from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Fox Hill Gardens community room, located at 311 13^th Street. Phase 1 of improvements to Legion Park were completed in April, 2012 and included new playground equipment and safety surface as part of a city-wide parks improvement project.

In addition, a public hearing will be held on February 27^th, 2013 at the Hoboken Historical Museum (1301 Hudson Street) for the public to review and provide feedback on proposed improvements to Elysian Park. In advance of the meeting, the proposed plan can be viewed at www.hobokennj.org/elysianpark. Residents are invited to attend any time between 7pm and 9pm.
