RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY FOR RENOVATED CHURCH SQUARE PARK PLAYGROUND

Mayor Dawn Zimmer will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Church Square Park (near 4th St. and Park Ave.) on Thursday, December 20th at 12:30pm to open the completely renovated playground area which features new play equipment and safety surface. The community is invited to attend. The Mayor will be joined by representatives from the Hoboken Family Alliance, which raised $50,000 towards a new playground through the Project Play initiative. Funding for the renovations was also provided by a $1.6 million city-wide parks improvement bond. In addition to the playground area, the basketball courts are also currently undergoing renovations.
