Hudson County CASA’s 7th Annual Wine Tasting is fast approaching in fact it is tomorrow night! Come celebrate with Hudson County CASA on Friday, March 22nd from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the Atrium in the Harborside

Enjoy sampling more than 90 wines with sweets and treats gathered from the best purveyors in the metropolitan area. The night will also include hors d’oeuvres, an exciting silent auction, a cork pull, free parking, and much more! At this point tickets are $75 online or $85 at the door.

Plans for Wine Tasting are coming together. The New Jersey Beer Company will be back by popular demand, offering both draft and bottled beers. The silent auction will feature a signed Eli Manning jersey, Yankee tickets (great seats), a fishing charter for 6 out of Briellle, and beautiful pearls for women and girls from Honora.

About Hudson County CASA:

HCCASA serves children from across Hudson County. A non-profit organization located in Jersey City, HCCASA is part of a state network. Nationally, there are more than 1,000 CASA programs working in local communities.

HCCASA volunteers are appointed by family court judges to watch over and advocate for abused and neglected children, to make sure these children don’t get lost in the overburdened legal and social service system or languish in an inappropriate group or foster home. They stay with each case until it is closed, and the child is placed in a safe, permanent home.

There are currently more than 60 volunteers donating their time and energy as advocates to HCCASA. Our volunteers represent a true cross section of the community: active and retired professionals who have worked in a variety of industries, business owners, and graduate students, of all ages and ethnic backgrounds.
