DJ Tava Luv is opening a set at an event tonight at The W Hotel’s Chandelier Room May 2nd. The first 25 Ladies receive a free gift bag with fun prizes. The festivities start at 9pm and run through the whole evening with an all night happy hour. Other DJs include DJ RalphMonte, Llyod United and Dance Crew. Visual artists include Craig Collins, Ocean Clark, and Larry Ciarallo.

Pianist ELEW To Perform; The Cake Boss To Deliver a Special Cake
Saturday’s Gala to Rebuild Hoboken is sure to be rockin’, especially when ELEW (Eric Lewis) takes the stage. The iconoclastic pianist, known for a “thunderous style of play,” will be the featured performer during the fundraiser this Saturday, February 2, at the W Hotel in Hoboken, NJ. The event begins at 7 PM with cocktails, followed by an evening of entertainment, live and silent auctions and food prepared by local restaurants. ELEW will perform two sets throughout the evening.
Elew excites audiences with an inspired medley of ragtime, rock and pop that he calls Rockjazz. His physical style of playing piano, standing rather than sitting and sometimes plucking the piano strings like a guitar, has captivated thousands of people at some of the biggest stadiums in the United States. He has also played the White House. In 2009, he performed in the East Room on a special presidential piano with legs carved in shape of bald eagles at the White House Poetry Jam, with Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and Joe Biden all in attendance. Last week, he performed at the Hip-Hop Inaugural Ball at the Harman Center for the Arts in Washington.

The Rebuild Hoboken Relief Fund organization also announced that Buddy Valastro of Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken and star of The Cake Boss will be baking and presenting a cake for the gala.
