Mario's Pizza Christmas in Hoboken 2012

Mario’s Classic Pizza at 8th and Garden Street was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. They had 5 feet of flooding in their basement, lost inventory, business outage and electrical, plumbing repairs before they re-opened the day before Thanksgiving. Despite the setback this local family run restaurant has not lost the holiday spirit as evident in the holiday décor. Shop local and eat that way when you can. Our local businesses need our support in Hoboken. Happy Holidays to Mario, his family and employees.

Marty O’Brien’s at 94 Bloomfield Street will be open tomorrow for Thanksgiving and they will be running their normal dinner and bar menus. Also Marty O’Brien’s will be dropping the “Social Club” from their name shortly. The logos on the menu and building will have to be modified to complete the task and that could take some time. TheBoken always finds simple to be best when it comes to brand names. It should be noted that we enjoyed our last visit to this place earlier this week. Once again the food was good and the service excellent. 

 

Also, Midtown pizza place Mario’s Pizza will not have their normal Italian/pizza menu but will be open for a free turkey dinner from about 12pm-6pm. Mario’s has done this event for over 10 years and it is a great way to extend thanks to the community. Mario’s is on the Southwest corner of 8th and Garden Street.

Mario’s Classic Pizza in Hoboken

Mario’s Classic Pizza and Café located at 742 Garden Street in Hoboken offers a traditional pizzeria menu with many options.  We ordered delivery from Mario’s over the weekend and the pizza came piping hot as if it were right out of the oven.  The pizza and caesar salad were delivered in less then thirty minutes from the time we called!

Mario’s has been offering a great special to Hoboken residents since last summer.  Recession Buster Gift Card!  Purchase a $20.00 gift card to Mario’s and they give you $30.00!  Great deal if you plan on eating there often.

 With so many pizza establishments in Hoboken Mario’s has become one of our go to places for a quick delivery and quality food.
