Visit Wicked Wolf Tavern to Support Dine Indeed on Tuesdays from 5:00-10:00 PM Starting July 10th

Here is a press release from the organization Dine Indeed which for 2012 has partnered with the Wicked Wolf to help raise money for children’s causes in the area. Read below for more details as all three organizations that benefit from this fundraiser help Hoboken’s children…

Visit Wicked Wolf Tavern to support Dine Indeed on Tuesdays from 5:00-10:00 PM starting July 10th

The Boys and Girls Club of Hudson County and the Jubilee Center, along with the Association for Science in Autism Treatment (ASAT), have joined together to launch Dine InDeed 2012, a community-wide restaurant event committed to helping children and adolescents realize their fullest potential.  The Wicked Wolf Tavern is our first official restaurant this summer! Four Hoboken restaurants have participated in the recent past raising almost $5000.

The Wicked Wolf Tavern, at 120 Sinatra Drive has a menu full of American favorites and specialties, including a children’s menu  http://www.wickedwolfhoboken.com/menus.php and  http://www.asatonline.org/pdf/DineInDeedCalendarJuly3.pdf . The Wicked Wolf offers their guests a comfortable and friendly environment, exceptional service, and an incredible view of Manhattan. This collaboration supports the initiatives of three local organizations:

  • Current estimates state that 1 in 88 children have autism.   Each year, countless Hudson County families spend thousands of dollars on unproven treatments for their child with autism. The Association for Science in Autism Treatment’s mission is to disseminate accurate information about autism treatments so that all families are able to identify and choose effective, scientifically-validated interventions for their child.
  • The mission of the Jubilee Center is to serve the academic and social needs of children and families in Hoboken’s public housing community.  The Center has provided a safe after school haven for children in grades K-6 for more than a decade and has recently expanded programming to accommodate the needs of the children during the summer.
  • The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County helps young people build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders. They do this by providing a safe haven filled with hope and opportunity, ongoing relationships with caring adults, and life-enhancing programs year round. Donations will be used to fund building renovations at the Hoboken location on Jefferson Street.

Please visit www.facebook.com/DineInDeed to learn more about Dine InDeed (and kindly “like” the page as well).  Please also check out our calendar. If you are a restaurant owner or manager and would like to learn more about Dine InDeed, please email us at DineInDeed@aol.com.

Please visit the Wicked Wolf Tavern on Tuesdays from 5:00-10:00 pm… and don’t forget to order dessert!

The Hoboken Homeless shelter and Jubilee Center of Hoboken will both benefit from the ride. What will be deemed an unofficial SUPERHERO day in Hoboken, NJ will start at 5pm at Pier A by the fountain and will continue to approximately 7pm. A recommended donation of $10 is asked to participate. Riders can choose to come dressed up in any costume they want, even if it is not a superhero or come as you are and ride in your regular attire. When riding for a cause, you are already a hero and helping others.

Riders are asked to be safe and wear a recommended helmet. The ride which will circle Hoboken for about 2 hours will bring tons of smiles to everyone who will witness the spectacle. Riders are also reminded to obey all traffic laws and ride together in a pack in safe areas. For more information about the ride for a cause please visit the Hoboken Superheroes Facebook page or email midtownauthentic@gmail.com. All ages are welcome and a Riddler and a Joker would be appreciated.
